I am sorry to hear about your cataracts, and I hope your surgery goes well. This was a very insightful podcast, and you gave me something to think about. Thank you.
I hope that your eye operation goes well, Jimmy. This was an interesting podcast episode. It's a shame that for some idols we adored that some of their work isn't the same after hearing of the horrors of their actions.
I did like how you mentioned that as long as you find joy in the art you do, that's all that matters because it does make a difference.
Get well soon, Jimmy. I look forward to your new comics, and I'll have to check out Claire's work when it's out :D
Thank Claire for me. I have just heard about that situation or something similar and pondered the same issue. For me the core dilemma is, can I support this person with my dollars, let alone my time? Does degree of badness matter? I'm boycotting McDonald's and Starbucks now for their actions vis a vis a cause I support, so how can I buy a book, watch a video, or play music created by someone whose values I abhor? On another note, life will be better after the cataract surgery. It has been well tested with millions of patients. May your surgery and recovery be smooth as jello sliding on a warm plate. Thank you also for your work on Unpacking Peanuts. I so enjoy that podcast.
